Darktrace's Federal Cyber AI Mission Defense, validated by the Technology Advancement Center, efficiently detects and responds to various advanced threats, achieving 100% real-time detection of anomalous behaviors without relying on rules or signatures.

Darktrace Federal Cyber AI Mission Defense, designed to counter advanced threats like nation-state attacks, insider threats, and zero-days, has received independent validation from the Technology Advancement Center (TAC). In their evaluation, Cyber AI Mission Defense consistently identified and responded to nation-state-like attacks in real time, achieving 100% detection of anomalous behaviors without relying on rules, signatures, or whitelisting. The evaluation also highlighted the solution's success in discovering connected devices across IT and OT networks, ensuring complete visibility into network communications and asset identification. TAC, a cybersecurity nonprofit linked with U.S. Cyber Command, conducted a comprehensive technical assessment over two months, deploying various exploits to simulate nation-state attacks. Following the evaluation, TAC acknowledged the maturity and high capability of Darktrace Federal's AI approach to network threat protection. The Cyber AI Mission Defense solution, utilizing Darktrace's Self-Learning AI, covers IT and OT environments, including on-premises networks, cloud, and critical infrastructure systems. The CEO of Darktrace Federal, Marcus Fowler, emphasized the importance of Self-Learning AI in bolstering the U.S. government's defensive capabilities against cyber threats, particularly in the face of adversaries leveraging AI and automation. The full evaluation report, encompassing criteria, network configuration, exploits, and results, is available for download. Darktrace Federal, a subsidiary of Darktrace PLC, aims to provide comprehensive AI-powered solutions to safeguard U.S. federal government entities from cyber disruptions.

The Technology Advancement Center (TAC), formerly known as MISI, operates as a cybersecurity nonprofit focusing on small business and academic engagement, STEM and workforce development, and proof of concept innovation. TAC collaborates with U.S. Cyber Command to connect the government with innovative cybersecurity products and solutions, running programs through Defense Mission Accelerators like TheLink and DiscoveryX.
