A young West Ham supporter stirred controversy by expressing a desire for the early elimination of the Ghanaian national football team, the Black Stars, from the 2024 AFCON tournament. The fan made this statement during a post-match interview on West Ham Fan TV, following his team's 3-0 victory against Wolves in the English Premier League. He hoped for Ghana's early exit so that their player, Kudus, could return to West Ham sooner. Despite the negative reaction from many, the fan also praised Kudus for his outstanding performance in the game.
