China Urges Swift Ceasefire In Gaza

 


China's top diplomat urged swift international action to address the Gaza conflict during a meeting with leaders from Arab and Muslim-majority nations. Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized China's commitment to justice and fairness, calling for an immediate ceasefire.


The visiting ministers echoed the call for an end to the conflict, expressing the need for urgent relief efforts. Beijing has been actively involved in diplomatic initiatives, including a multi-country tour by a peace envoy and advocating for a ceasefire at the UN. China aims to strengthen its global influence and enhance ties with countries in the Arab world amid the conflict.
